!MailCheck is an program for use with ANT Inetsuite V1.24+.
(Tested with V1.31 and RISC OS 3.7 in 17/1/99)
WHAT DOES IT DO?
----------------
When !MailCheck is run by double clicking on it, it displays at the
top left of the screen a panel which shows how much eMail/News mail
is to be send and if there is any mail arrived sitting in your mail box.
You can also click anywhere on the window or the mail icon to open
the directories where the mail comes in.
This allows you to examine your mail directly before Marcel or Newsbase, etc. has had a chance to look at it.
INSTALLING
----------
!MailCheck needs to know the Filer location of !InetSuite.
So when you first run it and !InetSuite has not been 'seen' by the Filer then it can't know where your mail is held.
But once !Inetsuite is 'seen' or loaded then !Mailcheck records where it saw this and remembers the path for the next time.
You can get !Mailcheck to load automatically once you're online to the Internet by placing the full pathname of !Mailcheck into the 'Modem connection' or LAN connection (if you have one) field.
This can be found in the Configuration panel of Inetsuite in 'Other options'.
Other notes...
It is impossible for more than one copy of !MailCheck to be run.
If you do want to quit it, use the Tasks window or click on its CLOSE
icon..
!MailCheck was compressed by that wonderful program !BasCompress
